Dan Gilman's Bio
Co-Owner, Chief writer of HTML, design and development of websites.
Dan has been in the Assistive Technology field since 1992 and has dedicated his efforts to assist those disabled individuals who require Assistive Technology to access the computer. He provides technical support, demonstrations, and training to people with a disability, parents, and professionals such as Educators, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Therapists, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors. He is certified by the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) as an Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP).
Mr. Gilman has lived with a disability for 27 years. In 1972, at 15 years of age, Dan fractured his neck in a swimming accident resulting in a spinal cord injury at level C4-5. He understands and is knowledgeable of Assistive Technology and its applications for computer usage.
His utilization of the internet as a resource for investigating current technological advancements in Alternative Computer Access and Assistive Technology prompted him into learning more about html and web page development.
